My name is Meredith, and I’m raising funds to honor my brother, Lewis G Ewbank, who passed away unexpectedly. Lewis was a kind, thoughtful, and loving man who brought laughter and warmth to everyone around him. He loved playing jokes on me, his girlfriend, and our late mother, always finding ways to make us smile. His sense of humor and caring nature made him truly special, and his absence is deeply felt by all who knew him.
Lewis wished to be cremated, and while he didn’t want a formal service, I want to give him a small, heartfelt farewell in Fayetteville, NC. His body is currently being held at Cape Fear Hospital, and I’m facing daily charges for this. Once I can raise the funds, Cumberland Crematorium Center will handle the cremation and a simple service. I also hope to purchase two urns—one for myself and one for his girlfriend, who loved him dearly and was by his side for eight years. She’s going through a very difficult time, and having some of Lewis’s ashes will help her keep his memory close.
I’m doing my best to manage everything on my own, but I’m struggling financially, and Lewis’s girlfriend is also unable to help right now. Having these urns means a lot to both of us, as I already have our parents’ urns and want to keep Lewis close. Your support will help us say goodbye and honor Lewis in the way he deserves, bringing comfort and closure during this heartbreaking time.
