As you may know, on Saturday, October 19th, my Uncle Leo tragically passed away in a house fire at his home in Midway, Utah. Not only was he my uncle, but he was also like a father to me. I will be responsible for handling the funeral arrangements. Unfortunately, such services are often unexpected and costly, and I am not financially prepared for this expense. That’s why I am starting this GoFundMe campaign—to ensure that Leo receives the proper service he deserves.

Leo was more than just my uncle; he was a friend to the entire community of Heber in Midway. He graciously opened his home to many, becoming a father figure and an extra uncle to those who needed support. He was one of the kindest, most caring, and supportive people I have ever known. He raised me as his own son, helped me through high school and college, and inspired me to strive to be a better person. I owe my entire life and who I am today to him.

I am currently living in Phoenix, Arizona, and won't be able to travel to Midway until the beginning of November. I am asking for your support in helping me provide the service that he truly deserves. Thank you!

I currently do not have a date set for the services. Once I am able to visit Midway, Utah, and assess what remains of the house, I will be better able to plan a celebration of life and funeral services.

Both Leo and I were born and raised in Mancos , Colorado. and I do hope to have a celebration of life there as well.
