My name is DeAnna, and I’m fundraising to give my beloved retired service dog, Lady Eleanor, the gentle and dignified goodbye she deserves and a way to keep her presence with me forever.
Lady Eleanor is a 9-year-old Great Dane who has been so much more than a pet. She has been my partner, my protector, and my grounding force through some of the hardest years of my life. As a service dog, she worked with loyalty, steadiness, and a heart bigger than her size and she continued giving even after retirement.
This year, her health has declined rapidly. She has been diagnosed with AS and a mild case of Wobbler Syndrome, along with other painful medical issues that have progressed despite medication, rest, and care. She no longer has quality of life, and every day has become a struggle for her. I do not want her to continue declining.
I am trying to help her cross peacefully as soon as possible but no later than before Christmas so she does not endure more pain or discomfort.
My goal is to provide her with compassionate euthanasia and have her remains professionally cleaned and preserved, so her bones can be returned home to me. This is a way to honor her life, her service, and her spirit a final resting tribute to a once-in-a-lifetime soul.
The total cost for euthanasia and bone preservation as well as end of life photos is $1,000. Any contribution no matter the amount will help give Lady Eleanor the peaceful passing and respectful memorial she deserves. ($500 to be euthanized and $500 to. taking care of her remains and an end of life photo shoot.)

If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser means so much.

Thank you for supporting us through this heartbreak. Lady Eleanor spent her life serving with love and loyalty — and now I’m asking for a little help to let her rest with dignity.

With gratitude,
DeAnna and Lady Eleanor

Below is the picture of what it cost to get her euthanized at home. This is from a local organization that will come to your house and euthanize your dog and a comfortable home environment. The cost is $500.
