Kori would have turned 26 in just two weeks if she hadn’t been taken away from us. She died of cardiac arrest late on February 23rd. Kori was a college student with dreams of becoming a school teacher. She loved being around children, especially her nieces and nephew, and hoped to one day meet a good man and have children of her own. When she had time, she enjoyed attending hockey and baseball games, exploring the outdoors, and photographing abandoned buildings. Kori was an amateur photographer and had won several ribbons at fairs and other competitions. She was a proud member of Ogden Strong Town and took pride in helping others and her community. It is a shame and a loss that she was taken from us before she could fulfill her enormous potential.
Losing a daughter is a terrible burden for any family. The costs of her funeral have been overwhelming, and we are struggling to cover these expenses while grieving her loss. We want to honor Kori’s life, accomplishments, and the bright future she deserved, but we need help to do so without going deeper into debt.
Please help us honor Kori’s memory and support our family during this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference and help us give Kori the farewell she deserves.
