Hi, my name is Kimberly Thomas, and I’m reaching out with the heaviest heart.

On Tuesday, my beloved mother passed away from sepsis caused by pneumonia. Losing her has left an ache that words can’t describe.

My mother was the strongest woman I’ve ever known. She was forced to grow up at just five years old, taking care of her brothers and sisters because her parents couldn’t be there for them. From that moment on, she lived her entire life caring for others — giving, helping, and loving even when she had nothing left for herself.

She had a hard life, but she faced every storm with courage, grace, and faith. She was tired near the end, but she never stopped being there for the people she loved. She truly deserved rest, peace, and the kind of beautiful farewell that reflects her spirit.

Sadly, my mother didn’t have life insurance, and my father only recently told me. I want to honor her properly — to send her home beautifully, just as she brought me into this world. I’m asking for help to cover her funeral and burial costs so that she can have the memorial she truly deserves.
