Our family is organizing a fundraiser in Kevin's memory for his mother. We are overwhelmed and saddened by the sudden and unexpected death of Kevin: son, brother, uncle and friend. "No mother ever expects to bury her child" as his mother, June has said repeatedly many times since his death.

Nothing prepares a mother for the sudden loss of a son. Kevin lived with his mom and was not only her care taker, but he was her best friend. His presence always put a smile on her face, especially in the mornings when he grabbed her toes and said, "hey mom, are you gonna sleep all day. I have your coffee ready and I am cooking your breakfast."

Kevin loved his family, his Harley, fishing, and his dog, Bella. Friends and classmates are sharing condolences and fond memories of their times together from childhood adventures to school days, to recent trips and adventures, remembering him as a kind and fun person.

All who knew him will hold their own special memories of him close to their hearts.

Many people are asking, "What can we do to help mom?" In lieu of flowers, your prayers are coveted along with any encouraging words, or any donation to help offset the costs of such an unexpected loss.

At the end of the of the day when Kevin would tuck mom into bed, he would lean over and kiss her forehead and say, "good night mom, I love you. I'll see you in the morning." That is what she misses the most.

He will be missed by many, especially mom.
