My name is Angela, and I’m reaching out for help after the recent loss of my dad, Kent Dunn. He passed away on November 10 at the age of 71, just two months after losing his wife to cancer. I’ve been by his side through these difficult months, helping him as he grieved and cared for his two beloved cats. Kent was a caring person who always tried to help others, even when he didn’t have much himself. He worked hard his whole life, spending years at Georgia Pacific until it closed, then at Pfizer, and later at another pharmacy. He was proud of his two children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Kent’s health declined after he could no longer work due to back and leg problems, and it broke his heart to step away from the work he loved. I missed two weeks of work to be with him in his final days and was also sick with bronchitis. Now, I’m facing the costs of his cremation, which his life insurance won’t fully cover, as well as his rent and electric bills that are due soon. I need help to finish paying for these expenses and to clear out his home so I don’t lose what I haven’t been able to move yet.
