To Help a Grieving Mother and Her Children After an Unimaginable Loss

On the morning of April 11th at 7:15 am, our world shattered.

Chasity Brownrigg, a single mother of three beautiful children. My oldest daughter, Kaylee Rose Brownrigg, made the heartbreaking decision to leave this world. She was just a teenager, still full of promise, laughter, and kindness—but also silently battling demons too heavy for her young heart to carry.

She left letters—trying to explain, trying to make sense of the pain she couldn’t escape. She believed that going to be with her father, who passed away previously, would bring her peace. But nothing can prepare a mother or her children for the hole left behind.

I don’t understand why God keeps taking my family away. I was given a beautiful family of five that gave me purpose and filled my life with joy. And now, we’re three—trying to breathe, trying to survive, trying to make sense of this pain.
