Help Honor Joshua Manahan’s Life and Support His Family
Donation protected
On April 28, our beloved cousin, brother, son, and friend Joshua Manahan was tragically taken from us in a senseless act of violence in downtown Portland, OR. His passing has left our entire family shattered, especially his mother and younger siblings, who are now facing the unimaginable, laying him to rest far too soon.
Joshua was a proud Chamorro warrior and had so much love for his island, his culture, and his people. He was vibrant, loyal, loving, and full of life. He made people feel seen and safe. To me, he wasn’t just my cousin — he was my brother in every way that mattered. His presence was grounding and full of heart.
We are hoping to raise $10,000 to help cover the immediate memorial expenses and to ease the financial burden on his mom during this painful time. Funds will go directly to Joshua’s family to help with:
- Memorial services and gatherings (including a Rosary and celebration of life)
- Support for his mom and siblings as they grieve and heal
I believe in the power of community to lift each other up when in matters most. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page and holding Joshua and our family in your heart. Your kindness, love, support, and remembrance of who Joshua was, and how he lived, mean more than words can express.
With all our love and gratitude,
