It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of John G. Lyman, 63, of Clinton, Kentucky, on September 20, 2025. John was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Born in Clinton on March 15, 1962, to the late Charles and Rachel Lyman, he spent his life working the land he loved as a dedicated farmhand on Deweese Farms. His hands bore the stories of years of honest labor, and his spirit was as steadfast as the Kentucky soil he tended.

Above all, John cherished his family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and poured his heart into every moment shared with them. A “good ole country boy” through and through, he found joy in simple pleasures—watching westerns, especially John Wayne, and being surrounded by the people he loved most.

While his casket and burial services have been provided, his family is struggling to cover the cost of a headstone to honor his life and legacy. We are asking for help to give John a marker that reflects the love, devotion, and hard work he gave to his family and community. Any contribution, big or small, will help us ensure he has a resting place that befits the remarkable life he lived.
