Help Honor Joe "Tree" Kane's Memory

Hello, my name is Shirley Prendergast, a lifelong family friend of Joe Kane, like a sister to him. At the request of his brother, Michael Kane, I’ve created this fundraiser to honor Joe’s memory.

On Friday, August 15th, we tragically lost Joe Kane of West Haven in a fire under suspicious circumstances. Joe was just 57 years old. He was a kind soul who touched the lives of so many, always ready for an adventure, thoughtful in his ways, and giving of himself to others. He created countless lifelong memories with his friends and family, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void.

This fundraiser is to help cover Joe’s memorial service expenses. Any amount you can give will help ease the burden during this heartbreaking time, and even sharing this page will mean so much.

Organizer Transparency

I am a lifelong family friend of Joe Kane, like a sister to him, and I am organizing this fundraiser at Michael Kane’s request. Funds will go directly to Michael to cover Joe’s memorial service expenses. If any money remains, it will be donated to the Beth-El Center in Joe’s name.
