I'm humbley asking for help with Mom's burial wishes

Donation protected
Hi I'm John McKenzie and my mom, Joan Mabel McKenzie passed on December 27, 2024. It was just the two of us and very unexpected so I'm struggling with costs of moving and trying to fulfill Mom's wishes of a burial.
Joan was born in Newport England June 23rd 1928 Joan Mabel James. Mother Constance label James was a single mother raising two children Joan and her older brother George.Joan left school at the age of 14 to work and help support the family working in a retail candy store clothing and in a car bumper factory stacking bumpers. Joan,George and her her mother moved to Bakersfield California in 1952 .(2 weeks after the earthquake )Joan recalled being disappointed that on the trip to California they did not see any Indians, she thought that they would because they were traveling out west.and considering up until then they had never left England so they figured Bakersfield was still the wild west.Joan married and had two sons Bryan in 1955 and John in 1957 Joan became a single parent in 1958 raising two sons and taking care of her mother. Joan worked at Easton's clothing store before going to work at JCPenney downtown Bakersfield where she retired after 28 years due to her failing eyesight. Joan had retinitis pigmentosa inherited from her mother .Many remember Joan running the elevator at Penny's or for the 52 years she rode the city bus or when she would be people watching at valley plaza .She would look forward to going every Sunday to Hodels eating and visiting with people .Humor was a big part of Joans life. Its is hard to describe joan in the sense that she had this Aura around her that was incredible .She could walk up and pat a junkyard dog and it would wag its tail, she would confront unruly teens on the bus and their attitudes would completely change for the better .Strangers would ask her for a hug (she loved hugs )too many qualitys to name them. A friend described her and leaving behind a legacy. Joan will be truly missed by anyone that's known her. She has affected so many lives in her 96 years with us .Mom we all love and miss you.
