Jimmie Lee Murray was 64 years young, born and raised in Miami Dade County at Jackson Memorial Hospital. As the sixth child of nine siblings, Jimmie grew up surrounded by family and love. He was always my protector, provider, and hero. My father was married to my mother for 31 years, but their bond spanned 46 years. Together, they raised three children, and we are all grown now.

Tragedy struck our family when my father was diagnosed with late stage 4 stomach cancer. The news devastated us, and the cancer spread rapidly and aggressively. On January 30, 2026, at 6:35pm, my father passed away at the Heart to Heart facility in Conroe, Texas. His final wish was to be buried near his beloved mother, Emma Murray, in her hometown of Pelham, Georgia.

I started this GoFundMe to seek the help of kindhearted family, friends, and generous souls to cover the expenses of transporting his body from Texas to Georgia and to give my father a proper burial that honors his wishes.
