Jesse Owens was a force to be reckoned with. His father passed away when Jesse was just 7 years old, leaving behind his wife and seven children. Jesse was the only boy in the family, and from a young age, he learned the importance of hard work and family values. Throughout his life, Jesse worked tirelessly to provide for those he loved, always putting his family first. In my eyes, he was the epitome of the song 'Daddy's Hands.' He wasn't always gentle, but everything he did was out of love for his family. Jesse left a lasting impression on everyone he met, instilling his strong work ethic and his 'never give up' attitude in those around him. His legacy is one of resilience, love, and unwavering support for his family. My father, Jesse Owens, passed away today December 19th, 2025 and I am reaching out for help to cover the costs of his cremation and burial. He wanted to be cremated and buried along with the ashes of his wife and children who had preceded him in death. Any funds raised will go directly to these expenses, helping us honor his final wishes and give him the farewell he deserves.
