My young son’s daddy was tragically killed this last week. Jesse Lee Ricker was a strong man, in faith, family—especially his love for his one and only son. Since our son is his only surviving next of kin, we are responsible for giving Jesse the kind of celebration he deserves. His son absolutely idolizes his daddy. He will tell anyone that his dad is one of his greatest inspirations. Jesse and I spent 13 years married before we divorced, and our boy was the greatest gift of it all. Jesse had a very hard life but still saw the good in most everything. He lost his mother before he could even know her, and then his father passed away when he was 11 years old. He was separated from his half-sister and stepbrother and was bounced around from foster homes to group homes. Life wasn't fair for Jesse. But if you knew him, you would not know it unless he opened up to you. He smiled huge! He later found the love of his life and created the family he always wanted with even an extra bonus step son. Their love was absolutely beautiful.

Please help our son with his wish to give Jesse all he deserves in his celebration of life and service.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all who have donated so far. It means so much to us, especially my son who is just incredibly touched with all of the love for him and also his daddy. No word on a service date as of now. We are still working on getting him from medical examiner. My son is smiling more and finding all the love that we continue to receive the greatest comfort. Unfortunately Jesse was murdered along with his wife and we have a very long road ahead of us. Continue of thoughts and prayers. We love you all.
