This is Lisa Stanley. I'm reaching out today to share the incredible journey of my husband, Jay Stanley, who was involved in a devastating car accident on 08-16-25. Despite being in critical condition and facing overwhelming odds, Jay's unwavering spirit and determination inspired us all as he fought to survive. Against all expectations, he pulled through and began his arduous path to recovery. After spending 2 months in the hospital, Jay finally returned home 3 weeks ago, still facing significant challenges but refusing to give up. His remarkable progress was a testament to his unyielding willpower and the exceptional care he received. November 4th, was meant to be a milestone day for Jay, as he had a doctor's appointment at comp rehab, where he would receive the results of his hip and leg scans.

He was filled with hope and anticipation, eager to take the next step towards regaining his independence. Tragically, fate had other plans. As we arrived at the appointment, Jay suddenly became unresponsive, and despite the swift efforts of the medical team, he passed away at 12:42 pm. While the cause of his passing is still unknown, what's certain is that Jay's legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. As an organ donor, his selfless act will continue to inspire and uplift others. Jay was more than just my husband; he was my rock, my confidant, and my best friend. His generosity, kindness, and compassion inspired everyone around him. As I navigate this unimaginable loss, I'm reminded of the profound impact Jay had on our lives. His memory will continue to motivate and uplift us, even in the darkest moments.
