Help Honor Jay Lane’s Final Wishes

Jay Lane passed away on August 9, 2025, after a long and difficult journey. Earlier this year, Jay suffered an anoxic brain injury and spent months fighting to recover, surrounded by the love and support of his family. Despite every effort, he was placed on hospice and brought home, where he spent his final days with those who cared for him most. Jay was a person who never liked funerals and always wished to be cremated, a wish his family is determined to honor.

Leesa and her 20-year-old son are now facing the challenge of arranging Jay’s cremation. The costs are more than they can manage alone, and time is running out. The cremation home can only hold Jay’s body until Tuesday; after that, he will be released to the county, which does not provide assistance for these expenses. Leesa and her son are reaching out for help to cover the costs of cremation, urns, and related fees, so they can fulfill Jay’s wishes and bring him peace. Any support during this urgent time would mean the world to their family and help them honor Jay in the way he wanted.
