Hello, My name is Samica. I am the mother of Jalyn and Jakobe Bass. Both of my sons were murdered 6 months apart. Jalyn was killed on 8/18/21 and Jakobe was killed on 2/8/22. I miss them dearly. They were the only children I had and I don’t have any grandchildren and now I never will.

They were 20 & 19 when they were killed. They were both loving and giving! They had so much joy and brought joy to anyone they encountered. They always said I love you and gave hugs. They both loved their family and friends and all children. Jalyn loved music and Jakobe loved football. They loved me!

I am seeking assistance in hopes of getting them a headstone for their graves. I don’t want them to have a nameless grave. I also think this would help me to accept and get some kind of closure. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to purchase them.

I ask for your prayers. If you have anything you can spare to help, it would be greatly appreciated and all would go towards their headstone. This is the hardest thing I have ever dealt with. I appreciate all of your support, love, and prayers.
