One Month Later… Our Community’s Love Still Means Everything
It’s hard to believe that a month has already passed.
I want to thank every single person who has donated, shared this fundraiser, prayed for Jalil’s loved ones, or simply offered words of encouragement. Because of your generosity, we’ve already been able to help support Jalil’s family during one of the most difficult seasons of their lives.
When I created this fundraiser as Jalil’s mentor and friend, my goal was never just to raise money. My goal was to show that Jalil mattered—that our community would come together to honor his life and support those who loved him.
Although the fundraiser has slowed, the need for support hasn’t disappeared. Grief doesn’t end after the funeral, and neither do the challenges that come with losing someone so young.
