My mother, Isabel Reyes, passed away suddenly on 12/12/2025. Just the day before, she was in her kitchen with me and my sisters, laughing and sharing stories about our lives. Isabel was truly a miracle—she survived a major heart attack, the amputation of both legs below the knee, and the loss of many fingers. Despite living with diabetes, COPD, and many other ailments, nothing could slow her down. She was a fighter until the very end.
Isabel was the mother of 12 children and always found a way to provide for us, no matter the circumstances. She would give her last dollar to help someone in need and often opened her home to those who needed it most. Her heart was kind, but she was also strong and determined. She touched so many lives with her generosity and spirit.
My mother lived on a fixed income and did not have life or burial insurance. We are hoping to offset the cost of her cremation, which was her wish. Any support you can offer will help ease the financial burden on our family during this difficult time. Thank you all for your support throughout the years and for always checking in on her. She always cared deeply for her extended family and friends.
