My name is Jessica Kinder.
My mother, Heather Beer, passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 1:15p.
She died peacefully, in her sleep, at home with me by her side.
She was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer in Dec 2021. I moved her from Palomar Mtn, CA to Puyallup, WA in August 2022, to live with my family so I could care for her full-time.
She fought really hard for so long, but the cancer kept mutating and spreading. It spread into her liver and her lungs.
On Monday, October 27, 2025, we recieved a phone call from her oncologist stating that her Cancer Marker had tripled in only 2 weeks time. Treatment was no longer working and needed to be stopped. We were told to transition to hospice.
On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. The right side of my face is completely paralyzed. My mother was placed on hospice, in our home, the same day.
She declined quickly, but I made sure she was comfortable and pain-free.
On Thursday, October 30, 2025, she took her final breath and lost her battle with cancer.
Her final wish is to be creamated and her ashes brought back home to CA.
If you know me, you know I don't like asking for help; so this is extrememly difficult for me to do. But we need help.
I am raising funds to help pay for the costs involved for her creamation and final wishes. Anything helps and is extremely appreciated.
Thank you all for the continued loved and support as my family navigates this difficult time.
