This is something I never thought I would have to write.

On October 7, 2025, my husband Harold Simmons passed away peacefully. Harold was an incredible son, husband, and father — deeply loved and admired by everyone who knew him. He touched so many hearts with his kindness, faith, and quiet strength.

In lieu of flowers, I’m asking for help to give Harold the Homegoing Service he deserves. Harold had been battling illness for several years and was unable to work much during the last two. I was laid off in April and, unfortunately, I don’t have the funds to cover the expenses on my own.

Harold believed in family, faith, and love above all else. He faced every challenge with courage and grace, and I want his Homegoing to reflect the beautiful life he lived. Any contribution — no matter how small — would mean so much to me and our family as we honor Harold’s memory and say our goodbyes surrounded by love.
