Help Honor Gina Rodriguez's Legacy

Donation protected
With permission from her children, I am making this donation page for an amazing woman who was taken from us way too soon. Her death was very unexpected and premature. A funeral for her was something no one thought needed to be planned for any time soon. She was planning for her future and had a new job opportunity right at her footstep. Her husband has been recovering from back surgery and has been out of work for almost a year and is not completely sure when he can get back to work. She was also out of work taking care of her father and his affairs while he is in a rehabilitation center. She has been working in the pharmaceutical technician’s field for nearly 30 years. She was eagerly looking for a new job and had an interview scheduled for today (March 31st) that she was so excited for.

This is why we are asking for any donations that can help her family give her the funeral service that she deserves and was not anticipated to occur.

Gina Rodriguez was an amazing wife, daughter, sister, mother, Lita (grandmother), and friend. She gave her all to everyone she crossed paths with. She has impacted so many lives through her 60 years of life. She was the most caring, compassionate, and patient person. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone who was in need. She never judged… she never criticized. She was her family's rock. Gina always had the correct answers. Anyone would call her to ask any question, and even if she didn’t exactly have the correct answer, she wouldn’t stop until she helped you find it. She left the best voicemails that I know all of us that she loved will be able to play for years to come. Her famous “whatssss uppp! Just checking in” is a phrase that will replay in my memory over and over. Her children cherished and loved her more than words. Her husband Manny and she have been together since high school. Through ups and downs, utterly in love for 44 years and married for almost 40 of those years. They have 3 beautiful children together named Victor, Nicholas, and Rachael. They have 7 grandchildren named Camila, Lucas, Valentina, Gianna, Thalia, Matthew, and Amari. She jumped anytime any of them needed her and was always on FaceTime or phone calls with her grandchildren. This is just some of her amazing qualities; there aren’t enough words to explain what kind of person she was.

I kindly ask you, if any of you reading this post can find it in your heart to donate anything you can to this family in need as they go through this tragic time of arranging funeral services and affairs, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance. God bless you all.

Once everything is finalized the family will announce the details on the funeral service.
