Help Honor Gary's Memory and Support His Family

It has been an incredibly difficult few days since we have suddenly lost my brother- in- law.
This is a post from Jan’s Facebook as I could not have said it any better:
It is incredibly difficult for our family to accept the reality of this situation, but I must make this post to honor and celebrate an extraordinary life.
On the evening of April 26, 2025, my partner, best friend, my rock, and the love of my life — Gary — passed away suddenly. That day, he spent doing what he loved most: fishing with his son Dakota and sharing dinner with loved ones. His passing was as unexpected as it was devastating, and life will never be the same.
Gary was a man who always stepped up — not because he had to, but because he wanted to. He was the kind of person who would go out of his way to help anyone in need. He showed up for others time and time again, never missing an opportunity to offer support, guidance, and friendship. There was never a dull moment when he was around, and his laughter and presence could fill any room.
The most profound void he leaves behind is as a father to our baby girl, Kylie. From the moment they met, Gary was her guiding light. Their bond was unbreakable, and there wasn’t a moment of her life he would have missed. Watching their love was witnessing true devotion — something that will remain with us forever.
Gary not only impacted our family but also helped shape who I am today. He taught me — and so many others — to be a good human, to never take time for granted, and to live life fully and kindly. He believed in showing love through action and proved, every day, that when people truly care, they will show up.
As we move forward, we face a painful and uncertain journey — one that will demand strength, courage, and resilience. Please keep us in your prayers in the days, weeks, months, and years ahead as we learn to navigate life without him.
We are forever grateful to have shared our lives with Gary and to have learned so much from him. Though the pain is overwhelming, his love, lessons, and memories will guide us forward.
Until we meet again…
Watch out for those deer. ️
As we work to plan a funeral that truly honors his life and memory, we have realized that we cannot do this alone. We are reaching out to ask for financial support during this incredibly difficult time. Any amount, big or small, would mean the world to our family. If you prefer to, reach out to Jan for Zelle or Venmo information. Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your support.
