Fred was a hardworking and devoted man who wore many hats throughout his life—mechanic, welder, ambulance driver, long-distance trucker, gold miner, and above all, a loving father to our four sons. He was also a Veteran who served in the Army. He touched many lives with his kindness, patience, and sense of humor. Fred was always ready to lend a hand or share a story, and his love for reading, movies, and family made our home a warm and welcoming place.
In 2019, Fred was diagnosed with dementia, a tumor on his pituitary gland, and prostate cancer. Despite these challenges, he faced each day with courage and grace, surrounded by the love of his family. After a long and valiant fight, Fred passed away peacefully from pneumonia, with those who loved him most by his side.
I am reaching out for help to give Fred the dignified farewell he deserves. The expenses for his funeral and burial have been overwhelming, and I want to honor his memory in a way that reflects the wonderful person he was. Your support will help cover these costs and allow our family to say goodbye with love and gratitude. Thank you for considering helping us during this difficult time.
