Francisca was my beloved grandmother, and her passing has left a deep void in our family. On March 4th, she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. We tried chemo treatments, but they proved too much for her to handle, and her health declined very quickly. Her daughters came to the hard decision to place her under hospice care so she could go peacefully on her own. She was placed under hospice care with one of her daughters, and on March 24th—the same day she came home—she passed away unexpectedly around 10pm. None of us expected her to go so quickly, but her last wish was for us to bury her next to our grandpa, who passed away in 2023, if we were able. Now, her three daughters and our family are doing everything we can to raise the funds needed for her funeral, church mass, and burial. We want to honor her final wish and give her the service she deserves.
Francisca was a loving grandmother with a comforting soul. She could be serious at times, which made us appreciate her even more when she tried to make us laugh. She faced her fair share of struggles but was always mentally strong, and we are grateful she passed that strength down to us. As her grandson, and on behalf of all our family, I want to thank everyone ahead of time for any support you can give. Anything and everything will help us during this difficult time. Your kindness means so much as we come together to remember and honor Francisca.
