Dear Friends and Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Francis Olayinka Oriji aged 20 years. Francis was a loving son, brother, cousin, nephew, uncle, and dear friend to so many. He recently traveled to Nigeria, where he fell ill briefly and, to our deep sorrow, passed away in the hospital.

Francis was a man full of life, love, and faith. He loved the Lord passionately and was always present in church, praising and worshiping with all his heart. His unwavering faith in God and his joyous spirit touched the lives of everyone around him. He was the heartbeat of his family, especially to his mother, who cherished him deeply.

Francis' will be coming back to the United States to be honored with a proper farewell surrounded by loved ones. Many have inquired how they can contribute to this process. Though only seeking praying through this difficult time, the family has obliged to the many requests of people via this vehicle.

As we know we are a community. Our job as a community is to bear the burden of one another when ever possible. Any contribution provided with a cheerful heart will be graciously accepted by his grieving family.

We also ask for your prayers for strength, comfort, and peace for his family and all who loved him. May God’s grace surround us all during this time of loss, and may Francis' soul rest in perfect peace.
