Help Honor Flor Del Angel's Final Wishes

It is with great sadness and heartache to share the loss of Flor Del Angel, a mother, daughter, sister, and dear friend. October 24, 2024 my mother Flor closed her eyes for the last time.

Many of you may know Flor as a very kind hearted person who accepted everyone for who they were and saw the good in people. It saddens my soul to have to have to write this post and to assimilate with the reality that my mother will not be a few steps away anymore. To accept the reality that I will not be able to share many of my life accomplishments with her or to just be able to have a conversation with her.

For the past 24 years Flor has battled with stiff person syndrome which resulted her battling with restrictive lung disease and bronchiectasis brining upon us her sudden departure.

As I navigate through this difficult, unexpected time I am seeking support to cover the costs of my mother’s funeral expenses and to give her the memorial and final farewell that she always wished for and deserves.

Es con gran tristeza y dolor compartir la pérdida de Flor Del Angel, madre, hija, hermana y querida amiga. 24 de octubre de 2024 mi madre Flor cerró los ojos por última vez. Muchos de ustedes quizás conozcan a Flor como una persona de muy buen corazón que aceptaba a todos tal como eran y veía lo bueno en las personas. Me entristece el alma tener que escribir este post y asimilarme con la realidad de que mi madre ya no estará a unos pasos de distancia. Aceptar la realidad de que no podré compartir muchos de los logros de mi vida con ella o simplemente poder tener una conversación con ella.

Durante los últimos 24 años, Flor ha luchado contra el síndrome de la persona rígida, lo que resultó en su lucha contra una enfermedad pulmonar restrictiva y bronquiectasias que nos provocaron su repentina partida. Mientras atraveso este momento difícil e inesperado, busco apoyo para cubrir los gastos del funeral de mi madre y darle el funeral y la despedida final que ella siempre deseó y merece.
