Hello, my name is Isiah Williams and on the morning of Friday, October 3rd, 2025, our world changed forever. We lost a beautiful soul — Es’Marie Wallace — and our 4-year-old daughter lost her loving mother.
Es’Marie had been fighting a courageous and tough 5-year battle with epilepsy, a devastating condition that ultimately took her life — unexpectedly and tragically — right in front of our daughter….. No child should ever have to witness something like that. It’s a pain no one should have to carry.
Now, at just 22 years old, I’m facing the unimaginable: grieving a life partner, planning her farewell, and stepping into the role of a single father — all while trying to stay strong for our daughter.
This has been a deeply traumatic and heartbreaking experience. But through the pain, we want to honor Es’Marie’s legacy the way she deserves . She lived for her daughter. She was strong, energetic, kind-hearted, and full of life. Es’Marie deserved so much more time… 23 years wasn’t close to enough. Four years with her daughter wasn’t enough.
We’re asking for help — from friends, family, the Grand Rapids community, and even kind-hearted strangers — to help us give Es’Marie the beautiful farewell she deserves and to support her daughter’s future.
Every contribution, share, and prayer means the world to us. Let’s make sure Es’Marie is remembered for the light she brought into this world, and make sure we come together to make sure her daughter grows up knowing just how loved and amazing her mother truly was. ❤️
Rest in peace, Es’Marie. We love you forever.
