Eric LaPointe is my husband, my best friend, and my soulmate. He is the proud father of two amazing men and a loving grandfather to a wonderful little boy. Family has always been Eric’s whole world, and he has spent his life supporting his community and cherishing the beauty of nature. If you know Eric, you know he would do anything to help anyone, always with a sense of humor and deep empathy.
On July 30th, Eric suffered the first of what would become many strokes. Over the past seven months, he has endured a total of ten strokes, and has been non-responsive throughout this time. He was given a tracheotomy and a feeding tube, and now faces an infection that is resistant to antibiotics. Each day, he grows sicker and weaker, and after speaking with the funeral home, I realized there is simply no way I can afford to honor his final wishes on my own.
All funds raised will go directly to Eric’s funeral expenses, helping to give him the farewell he truly deserves. Any help we can get at this difficult time is beyond appreciated and shows just how much he meant to not just his family and friends but his community. Thank you for supporting Eric and our family during this heartbreaking time.
