Hi, my name is Henry Vicente and I am one of Elisandro's three brothers, Willy and Enanias. I'm going to share Elisandro's story. His story begins at a young age where his curiousity and love for family created a journey with him that we never thought would end this way. He looked up to his brothers following in our footsteps. From a very young age, he showed interest in music and would teach himself to play drums. Occasionally, I would see Papi giving him pointers. As a car enthusiest, he created replicas of cars using his Legos and loved to play Grand Theft Auto, even modifying the cars in the game. As he matured, his passion became soccer. Playing FIFA and pretending to be Cristiano Ronaldo in the game. What nurtured him most was Mami's fried chicken. These are merely memories now. My dream to make him a better verision of me are now over. About a month ago, he was diagnosed with Leukemia. He was curious and brave even during the fight against this terrible disease. He asked questions, translated for my parents and explained how he was overcoming it. After a hard fight, we lost Elisandro to Leukemia on 4/15/24 at midnight. We feel compelled to give him a proper burial. For that reason, we want share his story so you too could also be moved to help us bury my brother. We appreciate any contribution; however, great or small.
