Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edward Fernandez Sr. On Saturday June 7th he was hit by a car and pronounced dead at the hospital.

He was very well known in the city and loved by many. He had such a contagious smile.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As we come to terms with Edward’s sudden passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. We want to give him the dignified and heartfelt send-off he deserves, but unfortunately, the financial burden of expenses is overwhelming for the family during this already challenging time. 

I (Nancy Jenkins) am organizing this fundraiser to help the family cover the unexpected costs associated with his memorial service. This passing has been a shock to his family, and they are struggling to manage the financial burden during this difficult time."
