Help Honor Eduardo Curiel Carvajal

In honor of Eduardo Curiel Carvajal, he was a sweet, funny, and hardworking man who always put others before himself. He was honest and generous, and everyone who knew him felt his kindness. Eduardo was the only family I had on my mom’s side, and he truly was like a second father to me. He never had children of his own, but he raised me as the daughter he didn’t have, caring for me throughout my childhood.

In the streets of Santa Maria, many people knew him as Cuiny. He was a familiar and friendly face in the community, and his presence touched many lives beyond our family.

Recently, Eduardo was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cancer. The illness progressed rapidly, and he lost his battle on Saturday, June 14 at 9pm. His passing has left a huge void in my life and in the lives of everyone who loved him. In his final days, I was able to care for him just as he cared for me growing up. Because this happened so suddenly, our family was not prepared for the financial burden of funeral expenses.
