"I’m coming to you all with a heavy heart and a humble request for help.

For the last few years, my Mom was quietly making payments on my sister Donna’s headstone. Whenever I asked her how much was left, she’d just smile and say, 'It’s not much more, it’ll be paid for soon.' She didn't want me to worry.

Sadly, after Mom passed away, the bill was sent to me, and I realized the balance was much higher than she ever let on. I think she was just trying to protect me, even then.

I wish more than anything that I could just reach into my pocket and pay the rest myself, but I simply can't do it on my own. It breaks my heart that after three years, Donna still has an unmarked grave, and now Mom isn't here to help me finish this.

I hate to even ask for help, but I am praying for enough funding to finally pay off the rest of this bill. I want to honor Donna’s memory and finish the work my Mom started.
