Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you today with a heavy heart as we mourn the passing of Derek Randall. As you may know, Derek passed away unexpectedly on July 19th, 2025, at the age of 42. During his lifetime, Derek touched many lives with his kindness, dedication, and unwavering support.

Derek was a devoted father, a loving son, and a cherished brother and uncle. His daughter, Sara Emily Randall, meant the world to him, and he dedicated his life to supporting her from afar. Though his relationship with his mother, Tammy Randall, was complex, he loved her deeply and she was an important part of his life. His sister, Ashlee Francis, along with her husband Cody and their children, filled Derek’s life with joy.

In his professional life, Derek worked diligently at Hannaford, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and dedication. Though he was often reserved, those who knew him well understood the depth of his caring nature. Derek’s quiet strength and loyal support were a testament to the love he had for his family and friends.

As we come together to celebrate Derek’s life, we face the challenge of covering the unexpected funeral expenses. We wish to honor Derek’s memory in a way that befits the extraordinary person he was. To this end, we are reaching out to friends, family, and the community for assistance.
