Hello.

This is my California Mom, Debbie Hickerson. 25 years ago, I gained her as my mom. Over these years, she loved me and my daughter like we were her own. Over the past few years, we got close, and I came to rely on our conversations because they were raw and real. A month and a half ago, she called me to tell me that she was diagnosed with lung cancer. And on Friday, October 17th, she was called home and took her last breath. She lived modestly and did not have a lot to leave behind. She was a big soul and deserves to have services and a home going. I am one person and am not able to cover all the costs of having a funeral for my family. Anything you can do to help our family out to get down there and have a service.
