My husband David has always been a fighter. After surviving a double lung transplant 20 years ago, he has faced every challenge with courage and faith. Now, as he spends his final days in hospice, we are preparing to say goodbye. David is passing away from kidney failure, and I want to honor his wishes for a proper farewell surrounded by loved ones.
David is Catholic and wants to have a church service, but I am struggling to cover the costs. We still need a casket, and he has a burial plot next to his parents. There are so many expenses—funeral arrangements, the luncheon, priest fees, a headstone, and the visitation so friends and family can find closure. As someone on a very small budget, I simply cannot afford all of this on my own.
Your support would mean the world to me. With your help, I can make sure David’s final wishes are fulfilled and give him the peaceful, loving farewell he deserves. Thank you for considering a donation and for keeping us in your thoughts during this difficult time.
