Hello all, It is with heavy hearts we have to prepare for Darla Switzer's after life services. She passed away today… As many of you know not long ago Darla was diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer with mets to the liver. She wasn’t given very long and unfortunately the time we got with her is being cut even shorter. She has fought so hard and tried to push on as long as she could …she has taken a lot more than most could handle.

Darla was a single mother of four, a little sister of 4 brothers, she is a grandmother to 10 and a great grandmother to 1. And I think she enjoyed being a Mema more than anything. She lost her mother from cancer at a very young age, who she always looked forward to seeing again. She’s a very strong woman and everyone knew that about her. Life wasn’t always easy so she really deserves a beautiful service and to be put to rest properly. She has so many people that love her so dearly so it would mean a lot if we could have help getting this together for her.

Within the last year there has been a lot of financial struggles. Her family has taken a lot of time off of work for chemo, appointments, time spent in the hospital, rehab centers, and just to be by her side in these last moments…

Services Will be at Swartz Funeral home and will have a dinner to follow.

As of right now we do not have a date due to lack of funds but will let everyone know when we know.
