Dear friends and family, I am organizing this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister Robin and my niece Nicole. I am heartbroken to share the passing of my niece Danielle Thompson. After battling cancer for 3 years, Danielle passed away on September 22, 2025. Danielle, my fierce niece, never held back. From the time she was little, she never shrunk herself to make others comfortable. Danielle always showed up as her authentic self. She wasn’t afraid to ask the tough questions, and she stayed informed. For every goal she pursued in life she had an airtight plan. Her approach to fighting this battle was no different. When I saw her in person for the last time on July 30th, Danielle was herself, resolute. A fighter from day one, she fought this battle with tenacity. She gave it no less energy and effort than anything else she ever faced. Even when she was tired, never once did my niece speak of giving up. She knew that God was with her every step of the way, and in her own words, all is well. As we prepare for Danielle’s final farewell, we are raising funds to help cover the costs of funeral services.
