My sister Dana was a loving and caring person who always put others before herself. She faced some hard times, including homelessness, but she never lost her compassion for those around her. Dana was working hard to get back on her feet, and her strength inspired everyone who knew her. On January 1st, she began experiencing severe stomach pain, and we were all worried about her. Sadly, she passed away the next morning, leaving my brother and me devastated.
We want to honor Dana’s memory in the best way we can. We have decided to have her cremated, and we need help covering the costs of the cremation, an urn, and her death certificates. We also hope to hold a celebration of her life, so friends and family can come together to remember the wonderful person she was. This is a difficult time for us, and we are doing our best not to leave this burden on our mom, who hasn’t spoken to Dana in a while but still loves her deeply.
We are reaching out to anyone who can help us give Dana the farewell she deserves. My brother and I are struggling financially, and any support—no matter how small—would mean so much. Thank you for reading Dana’s story and for considering helping us honor her memory. God bless.
