Help Honor Connie Painter's Memory

On 7-11-2024 at 10:30am, I found my mother, Connie Painter, deceased in her favorite chair. After years of battling a plethora of illnesses, she succumbed to emphysema and COPD. Not 10 hours earlier, I had made dinner for us and we were talking and laughing like any other night. The shock was immense, as it always is with a death. This only compounded on the bad luck that has been had as her fiancé, Jeffrey Hobbs, passed away a few months prior.

My mom was a very strong woman who loved animals, was stubborn as a mule, and was tough as nails. The only saving grace in her death is that she is no longer in the extreme amount of pain that she was in due to her shoulder disintegrating, which would put her into tears daily. I wish I had more time with her, as we all wish when a death surprises us, but I can only honor her wishes by doing right by what she wanted and living the best way I know she would have wanted me to.

This fundraiser is to help with the cremation and to get caught up on the bills we were behind on. Thank you for anything you can give and if you aren't able to, just be kind and loving to each other as you never know when that end can and will come.

Right now there is no set date on anything but I will update her facebook and this page as I know/figure out more. Thank you all again.
