Hello, my name is Daisy Hernandez. I’m making this GoFundMe on behalf of Christopher Pesout. He was like a second father to me. He was a great man; everyone loved him. He was so kind and gentle. He helped me out so much when I found out I was expecting. He took me into his home with open arms and made sure I felt comfortable, safe, and a part of the family. I feel so lucky to have met him, got to know him, and for my son (his grandson) to have met him too. He did so much for us because that’s the kind of person he was. He was so special to us all.

So it saddens me to say that yesterday morning, we found that he had passed. It was very unexpected. He was an important part of our family, so this has been a hard time for us.
