Sometimes Love is wrapped up in grief, pain, and loss nevertheless, It's Love and Love is Forever!!!!

My name is Loretta Patterson. Through the tears, pain, numbness, and disbelief, I am writing this to you with words I can hardly speak out loud. I pray for strength and understanding within this message.

On November 1st, 2024 I received a call from a Homicide Detective informing me that my son was deceased and it is an ongoing Investigation. He just came home the day before he was killed.

I cannot express to you how much pain our family is in. The only thing that keeps us from falling apart is knowing that Christopher has gone home to be with The Lord! Christopher was baptized again a week before he came home. The Lord had other plans for Christopher!

Throughout the time after that phone call, our family began the process of trying to make arrangements for Christopher. We quickly realized we needed help.

Christopher was full of Life and Love and always the life of the party. With a smile that embraced you and let you know he thought the world of you.

He loved to dance and mix music on his dad's turntables. If he found you were Family, he automatically loved, embraced, and included you. He brought everyone and every animal home. He was a great friend who did what he could to help if a person was in distress. On many occasions, he would bring home friends to eat or sleep, and we took in various people who, for whatever reason, had nowhere to live. He loved animals, so we had numerous cats, dogs, and to my chagrin, even a snake.

Christopher was loving and kind. That is the sentiment in messages and texts, sent to me from anyone that has discovered what has happened. Christopher was no saint now. He would be the first to let you know that. He's had ups and downs, issues and troubles. He loved his family, children, friends, animals, and the Lord. There was nothing he would not do for you if you asked and he could.

Christopher was 41 years old and left behind his parents, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and 3 children ages 21, 2, and 3 months old.

“Although this is an incredible loss for our family, we celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him.” As we, his family deal with this unimaginable loss, we are facing hardship trying to deal with the financial burden of funeral and memorial expenses. I created this page hoping to get help to alleviate some of these costs. We ask for your support during this extremely difficult time.

Any donation no matter the size will honor Christopher's memory and help his family through this painful journey. If you're unable to donate, please consider sharing this page with others or offering a message of support to his family.
