Casey is creating this fundraiser for Chris Salm, Casey’s brother son of Joy Getz, after a sudden and heartbreaking loss. Chris lost his life due to schizophrenia, and his passing has left the family grieving and trying to face something they were not prepared for. Those who knew Chris know the kind of person he was. He would give someone the shirt off his back if they asked. He was someone who cared deeply and gave what he could to others, and that is how Casey hopes he will be remembered. Chris also leaves behind two small daughters who he loved tremendously. He wanted to get better so he could be there for them and be a dad to them.

This happened so suddenly that none of the family had time to prepare for the expenses that come with laying a loved one to rest.
