It is with deep sadness that our family shares the sudden passing of Chris Alvarez on Monday, May 26, 2025.

Chris was born and raised in Hollister and was proud to be an active member of the community. Throughout his life, Chris made it his mission to work not only for himself but for his family, friends, and community. He was loved by so many, especially his wife Shannon, and two kids, Nyia and Brody. He was a kind and caring person and always lent a hand to others whenever he could. He will be very deeply missed.

Funds are being raised to help offset funeral costs. We sincerely appreciate the love and support during this difficult time and will give an update on celebration of life plans once they are finalized.
