This morning, our hearts were shattered as we said goodbye to my dad, Charlie Giddings. He was one of a kind — funny, caring, and full of life. To me, he wasn’t just my dad, he was my best friend. He always called me “Britt Brat,” a nickname that will stay in my heart forever.

Some of my favorite memories with him were the simple ones — camping trips, grilling out, and laughing until our sides hurt. He had a way of making everyone around him smile, no matter what was going on. His sense of humor and his love for his family were truly something special.

I’m creating this fundraiser to help our family with the unexpected costs of his memorial services and to support us as we navigate this heartbreaking time. Losing someone you love is never easy, and any help — whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page — means more than words can say.
