Help honor Charles Ronnie Gillenwater (Memorial)

Hi, my name is Sara Sloan and first I would like to thank each and every person willing to read this. I am creating this GoFundMe page for my grandpa who went home to be with The Lord on January 28, 2022. Unfortunately, his passing was so sudden and unexpected, and my grandpa did not have a life insurance policy. He spent majority of November and December in a hospital fighting for his life, but by Gods hands only he was able to come home and spend a month with his family. He came home from being on a ventilator for 10 straight days! Hospital bills and ambulance transports have wiped out any possible funds to honor him and give him the much deserved memorial we want for him. This fundraiser is to cover his funeral service and burial costs. The full amount needed is $10,000, but the funeral home needs at minimum $5,000 by Wednesday, February 2, 2022 in order for my grandpa to get to have a service and burial.

He was a loving and extremely cherished brother, father, husband, grandpa, great-grandpa and friend. My papaw was a kind, gentle soul who would do anything to help out and give a lending hand. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed anything outdoors, served many years as a police officer in Lincoln County, WV, & above all loved his Savior Jesus with his entire heart.

He was the patriarch of my family and I am praying that anyone who feels the desire on their heart to donate (whether it be $1 or $100 etc, any and everything is so very appreciated) either donate here or reach out to me personally.
