It is with deep sorrow that I inform you of the passing of my grandmother, Carmela Garcia Alba, on December 14, 2024. Her unexpected death at the age of 93 has created a significant loss for our family. We find comfort in the belief that she has been reunited with her father and late husband.

Our grandmother, Carmela was a beautiful strong woman of exceptional character and grace, renowned for her warm demeanor and exceptional cooking skills. She truly was the best cook, and even loved to share all her recipes. Grandma was a source of joy at every family gathering. She loved to make people laugh with her crazy, funny jokes and stories. Grandma was such a kind, loving, so understanding, very caring and supportive individual. Grandma Wely was the Best!

To offset the costs associated with her funeral arrangements, we respectfully ask for your financial assistance. While no contribution can fully compensate for our grief, any donation would be gratefully received and meticulously applied to funeral expenses. Funds will be managed by her daughter, Diana Garcia Lopez, and grandchldren Diana D, Ayleen, Jacqueline, and Fernando Fernandez.
