Help Us Honor Brian DeMusz's Life

It is with heavy hearts that we announce we are raising funds to help with funeral expenses for our beloved uncle, Brian DeMusz, as he enters the final stages of a fierce battle with cancer. Brian, so rightfully recognized as a humble, hardworking man who touched many lives with his kindness, wit and quiet strength and talent.

Brian was the 15th child to a large, close-knit family. A true Cape May native and local; he spent countless years working as both an artist and sign painter. Known for his steady hand and incredible attention to detail. From hand-carving to free-hand painting every fine piece. Many signs seen hanging proudly upon the crests of local Cape May businesses, are Brian’s impeccable works of art.

He lived simply, never asked for much, and always gave what he could with what little he had. Now, we are asking for assistance on his behalf. The cost of his continuing end-of-life care and funeral arrangements has put a strain on the family. Any contribution — big or small; will go directly toward giving Brian the respectful, dignified sendoff he deserves.

If you knew Brian, you know he never looked for praise. With his gentle nature; happily accepting a compliment or gesture with a simple smile. But he has earned it. With every day that he proudly served his local community and countless friends. We ask that you help us come together to honor his life and alleviate some of the burden from his wife, Nancy and son, Nick, who he leaves behind.
