Help Honor Bill McCann's Memory and Legacy
Donation protected
It is with heavy heart that we share the tragic passing of Bill McCann who was in a fatal drag bike accident at Cecil County Dragway on Saturday, April 19th. Bill was a beloved father, brother, friend and a passionate drag racer who lived life on two wheels at the racetracks. His love for drag racing was a way of life that brought strangers together that tuned into his track family. Bill died doing something he loved and with that being said, gives us some type of peace.
Bill was a genuine, kind hearted person. He left an impact on everyone he met on and off the track. We all knew Bill had been battling cancer the past few years but yet never seemed to complain about it. The track was his happy place, a place to leave the cancer at home for a few hours and be with friends. Bill always greeted you with a smile and never spoke bad about anyone .
While we mourn the loss of Bill, we would also like to celebrate the wonderful life he had with his family who he cherished and celebrate the life he lived and the memories he leaves behind.
A GoFundMe page has been created to help support his family with funeral arrangement expenses. Every donation, no matter the amount is deeply appreciated. Bill would have given the shirt off his back for anyone, so let’s help him with the proper farewell that he deserves.
Thank you for your love, support and prayers during this very difficult time.
